I’m what you might call a career Product Manager, having spent 15 years doing it formally and a number of years before that doing it informally. I’ve worked in startups and public companies, both in Toronto and Silicon Valley, in roles ranging from individual contributor to VP Product Management.

I’ve also spoken widely on the topic of Product Management. I was a keynote speaker at the 2008 Software Marketing Perspectives conference in Santa Clara California. I’ve spoken at ProductCamps in New York, Boston Austin and Silicon Valley, and locally, I’m one of the founders of ProductCamp Toronto, where I’ve led sessions at many of the events.
